Men’s Colognes: The Hottest Fragrances for 2016
The way a man smells is part of his signature and lingers long after he leaves a room. This year saw a lot of new fragrance releases for men. Here are our favourite bold scents for him and as I know there are a few girls who wear men’s colognes (myself included) so for her as well!
Paco Robanne Invictus Aqua Eau de Toilette
This scent turned to the oceans – as the Aqua implies in the title! It evokes summer spent on the yacht on the Mediterranean. The marine notes also have grapefruit, pink pepper and yuzu and pink pepper as well as woody amber. As the bottle suggests, this is a fragrance for Champions of summer life.
Tom Ford Noir Extreme
This is a sexy daring scent – that is totally addictive. It combines warm spicy notes with a subtle hint of fresh citrus. The ingredients include saffron, hot amber, Himalayan snow and pistachio with sweet sweet vanilla. This is definitely one of those scents that you will use over and over again for years to come.
A*Men Pure Tonka Thierry Mugler for Men
An oriental and truly aromatic fragrance – this scent leaves its mark. It combines cacao, coffee and vanilla to make a chocolatey aroma with lavender at its heart and a touch of liquorice. A truly dusky scent.
Nuit D’Issey Issey Miyake Cologne
A strong and daring scent. The backbone of this scent is leather. Added to that are zesty citruses, spices as well as dark woods and the tonka bean. This fragrance creates mystery wherever you go.
AJ Arabia Black III
A soulful compelling scent. It has a citrusy crispness at the top which then turns to a deeper more structured smell. The leathers, dry woods and vanilla begin to come out as the fragrances works its magic. The bottle and the gorgeous box it comes in deserve a place on every fragrance cabinet. This is an enigmatic scent, that creates its own memories.
CH Men Central Park by Carolina Herrera
This is a scent that is both summery fresh and soulfully deep. The scent begins with a fresh ginger note and combines woody cedars with spices. The scent for summer and beyond.
