Splash Proof! Water Proof Makeup for your Summer
With Summer almost here we have put together a waterproof makeup look so you always look fabulous! With our girl Tamara Al Gabbani as our model for splash proof waterproof makeup, we headed to Desert Palm Per Aquum in Dubai, last summer, in the hot desert sun!
Whether you are sitting in the hot sun, or heading to the beach or pool, we often need to have nice coverage or a glamorous party look. We have put together our tried and tested products for a splash proof look!
Foundation – Waterproof Look
For Foundation we combined Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Coverage – which also acts as a great concealer and Mac Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation.
Bronzer – golden glow
Then came a touch of bronzer. We love mixing different products to get a special look! For those that need a darker look Make Up Forever Pro Bronze Fusion is a great gel powder with a build-able bronze! The Benefit dew the hoola liquid bronzer is a liquid bronzer with a golden dew! Guerlain – Terracotta Pause d’été Bronzing Powder Dou gives a great bronze glow with a touch of gold. Benefit Hoola Bronzing & contouring brush was a fabulous brush for applying the bronzer and is beyond soft on your skin.
Lips – Longlasting look
With long lasting Mattes, mettalics, and bold colours here are some of our favourite long lasting lipsticks! Kylie Lip Kit – Kristen for a pinkish nude; Kylie Lip Kit – Metals – Heir for a metallic bronze look; Kat Von D – Everlasting Liquid Lipstick – Bachelorette for nude,Wow by Wojooh – Lipstuck Fuschia Garden for a deep purple; Wow By Wojooh Lipstuck Chili for a strong red, and Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet – Peach Club for pink.
For the this look we combined the lip liner from the Kylie Lip Kit – Kristen, Kat Von D – Everlasting Liquid Lipstick – Bachelorette and topped it off with Kylie Lip Kit – Metals – Heir for a metallic bronze look.
Waterproof Eyes
For eyeshadow, we used Wet n Wild – Color Icon Glitter Eyeshadow which is waterproof and super fun! For eyeliner there are a few options depending on the look you want to go for. For bright colours from turquoise to white and yellow eye pencils Make up Forever Aqua XL Eye Pencil is great. For a black eyeliner look Tom Ford High Definition Eye liner was our choise which we combined with liquid liner – Mac Liquidlast Liner Point Black.
For Mascara two black waterproof mascaras that also give an amazing bold lash look are Tom Ford Extreme Mascara and Mac – False Lashes Waterproof . As for the eyebrows Mac Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set which comes in a great range of colours!
