Spring/Summer 2015 Wish List: Louboutin ‘Water in Love’ Collection

If you’re one of those women who prefers to plan for the next season before anybody else, you’ll be pleased to know that Christian Louboutin has a new spring/summer luxury shoe collection for 2015!

He’s done it again ladies – our favourite stiletto designer of the red-soled variety has been working hard to perfect his latest collection, entitled ‘Water in Love’.

Louboutin Red Soles

What’s so inspiring about any Louboutin offering is the fact that we can always expect a fairy tale story which provides depth to each and every shoe he designs.

With the aptly-titled launch of ‘Water in Love’, spring/summer 2015 can’t come soon enough! But what can we enjoy from this particular collection? Aside from Louboutin’s signature red soles featured throughout, which is enough to make any label lover drool, we can also see a certain aquatic theme happening. If you check out the lookbook on the official Christian Louboutin website, you’ll notice that each product shot is set within the bath tub. This suggests that you’ll never want to take these beauties off, even when you’re in the bath! This makes perfect sense if you adore your Louboutins as much as most women do.

Whether you’re loving his turquoise stilettos complete with a wavy silhouette, channelling his fringed block colour cut-out stilettos, or you want to add the red, yellow and patterned cut-out stilettos to your new season wish list, the chances are that you’ll be spoilt for choice here.

This collection was inspired by everything from the ocean, to Vladimir Nabokov’s ‘Lolita’ novel, to the art and architecture of American Southwest culture. The entire campaign was expertly shot by photographer Peter Lippmann, a creative with over 25 years of experience under his belt.

So if you like what you’ve seen here and want to get ahead in the spring/summer style stakes, the ‘Water in Love’ collection is just the tonic.
