Serums are a true skin care regime essential! Whether you are a woman or a man, whatever your age – you need a serum in your life!
WHEN TO USE?
We have been using serums from our early twenties. It started after late nights out with friends, or after study sessions before exams and on flights! We would use our serum at night – after perfectly cleansed skin applying it before we slept or in the day before a flight or when our skin needed a boost – applying it before our moisturizer and makeup. Its was a vitamin booster for your face! As we have gotten older and the first wrinkles appeared we use our serums more often – so from twice a month in our twenties to once or twice a week – depending on our skin. At times when your skin needs extra protection – when you are exposed to the elements, wind, dry air, lots and lots of flights and fashion weeks – then we use them daily. After that time has passed we return to our weekly use as a booster – or as your skin requires!

This is entirely a personal preference and everyone’s skin responds differently to different products! We love mixing anD matching and these are the serums currently in our beauty closet!
ESTEE LAUDER – ADVANCED NIGHT REPAIR
Estee Lauder has created Night Repair serums for your skin and for your eyes with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye These are gentles and powerful products, that are easily absorbed by the skin and works wonders! We have used it over the years – even in the day adding it as a base layer before makeup when we have need to not only have a glow but when we needed makeup to last and last.
ELIZABETH ARDEN – ADVANCED CERAMIDE CAPSULES
Elizabeth Arden has created capsules that are life savers! The Elizabeth Arden – Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum are perfectly packaged in tiny capsules, with one for every use. The serum melts onto your skin. Its great for problematic skin, even helping get rid of blackheads. Another wonderful product!
CLARINS – DOUBLE SERUM
Clarins has made a serum that says bye bye to wrinkles! Clarins Double Serum is easily absorbed, one that men love – even on their stubble and a product that you can start using as soon as those wrinkles appear!
MIZON – SNAIL REPAIR INTENSIVE AMPOULE
For those of you who love snails this is the serum for you! The South Korean brand Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule has put snail mucin, in a concentrated serum. This serum really plumps out the skin, helping you say adios to both wrinkles and small scars.
KIEHLS – MIDNIGHT RECOVERY CONCENTRATE
Kiehls has created a serum that is an intense moisturiser for dehydrated skin. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate has a slightly oily feel with one of the main ingredients being evening primrose oil. It has been created to overcome any dehydration – be it from high altitude, desert air, flights to ramadan days! You wake up looking refreshed.
KAMA AYURVEDA – MIRACULOUS BEAUTY NIGHT SERUM
Indian brand Kama creates beauty products based on the princple of Ayurveduc medicine. The Kama Ayurveda – Kumkumadi Miraculous Beauty Ayurvedic Night Serum has an oily texture and really give a beauty glow, whilst working on the natural benefits of Ayurveda.
HOW TO USE?
Check the instructions on your serum! But generally, with serums less is more! You need a few drops that you distribute evenly onto your skin or with eye serums – around the orbital eye bone. They can be used as a stand alone product or under your moisturizer or night cream.
