Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience VFDE

VFDE was a concoction of Vogue Italia, Dubai Mall, fashion, celebs, designers, music and entertainment all in one mall! at the same time!

It was a fun night out for friends and myself at Dubai Mall on October 1oth.

Running around the mall from event to event in pre-planned comfy wedges was quite the cardio!

I wore a jalabiya from the latest Tamara Al Gabbani collection, and so did my friend Lulu! Escorting us for the night was esteemed photographer Saeed Khalifa.

Being the super well organised person I can be (when I choose to be), I had scheduled hair, driver, friend meet up and where to enter the mall on the choker-blocked Thursday night to perfection. So much so, we arrived dead on time and as it turned out all the events were running late.

We found another Tamara on the way, and she skipped along for the rest of the evening.

Pit stops were Bloomingdales to see Ascia & Farah, quick hellos and chats before running off to Versace, I must say I do loooove the new jewellery range.

We ended the evening rushing over in wedges to a beautifully designed Level Shoe District, mingling and bumping into old friends and even made new ones, all alongside the entertainment that popped up on every corner. The finale was Solange Knowles rocking up to put the M in Music in the store! Level Shoe District was definitely my favourite part of the evening.

As at every GREAT event, fishfayce was there taking beautiful photos, all of which were uploaded instantly to instagram! genius.

Franca Sozzani and Mohammed Al Abbar made a quick entrance and had a walk around, post the fashion show held at Dubai Mall.

There was a lot of buzz, glamour and adventure that night! Naomi Campbell attended the show and wore a plain white suit.
